Day 1 - East Bali Discovery: Kintamani Volcano & Ubud Tour

Get ready for a full-day adventure exploring the heart of Bali’s cultural and natural wonders. Today’s journey takes you to two of Bali’s most iconic destinations: the breathtaking Kintamani Volcano and the artistic town of Ubud.

🕣 Pick-up at 8:30 AM from your hotel to start your cultural journey.

📍 First stop, visit Bali’s artisan villages, famous for their traditional crafts and art.

🌿 Then, head to Bali Spice Garden: Walk through lush plantations of coffee, cocoa, cloves, and vanilla. Don’t miss the chance to sip a fresh cup of Balinese coffee!

🌋 Continue to Kintamani Village: Take in the stunning views of Mount Batur and the peaceful lake below. We’ll stop here for lunch (personal expense).

What's the currency in Indonesia?

The official currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Although some tourist spots might accept US dollars, using local currency is the best choice.
Indonesian money (IDR) has a lot of zeros. Take time to learn the difference between 1,000 and 10,000 – 2,000 and 20,000 – 5,000 and 50,000, and the highest note, which is 100,000 rupiah.

How’s the internet in Indonesia? Should I get a SIM card?

Internet is decent in cities and touristy areas. Get a local SIM (Telkomsel and XL) at the airport or in town for affordable data.

Transportation: Shared or Private?

During the Bali tour, transportation will be arranged based on the group size.

Your pickup service from the hotel to Sanur Port will be private, as long as your hotel is within the free pickup area (Kuta, Tuban, Legian, Semimyak and Sanur).

The fast boat to Nusa Penida will be shared with other passengers.

Once in Nusa Penida, your group will use private vehicles with a maximum of 5 people per car. If there are more than 5 people, the group will be divided into separate vehicles for comfort and convenience.
